About Us
The mission of the West Adams Preparatory High School Library is to ensure that students
and staff are effective users of ideas and information and to encourage leisure use of
worthwhile materials. The library program is integrated into the school's curriculum and
supports the educational goals and the instructional objectives of West Adams Prep. Mrs.
Kogan, the Teacher Librarian, works with classroom teachers in all disciplines to integrate
literacy skills and research instruction so that all students acquire and strengthen skills in
locating, synthesizing, evaluating, and communicating information.
